ATM-112 training defibrillator<\/strong> is a training device for first aid courses and training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Its appearance and operation reproduce a rescue defibrillator, but it delivers no energy during a simulated shock \u2013 the exercises are completely safe for trainees.<\/p>\n

The device has 10 pre-loaded scenarios that let you practise how to deal with different cases of sudden cardiac arrest. The colour display, volume control and prompt language switch (Polish and English) make it easy to run classes both in a small room and in a large hall.<\/p>\n

The instructor controls the course of the exercise with a remote control \u2013 they can respond to the trainee\u2019s actions and adjust the difficulty without approaching the device. ATM-112 training defibrillator<\/strong> is powered by a rechargeable battery with a USB charger, so you do not have to remember spare batteries.<\/p>\n

Why does the ATM-112 training defibrillator work well on courses?<\/h2>\n

The most common barrier to using an AED is fear of an unfamiliar device. A trainee who has switched on a training defibrillator a few times, applied the pads and followed the voice prompts acts more confidently in a real situation \u2013 because they know what to expect.<\/p>\n

AED \u2013 a few facts worth knowing<\/h2>\n

An automated external defibrillator analyses the heart rhythm itself and decides whether a shock is needed \u2013 the rescuer does not need to know cardiology, they just follow the device\u2019s prompts. The sooner defibrillation takes place after cardiac arrest, the greater the chance of survival, and pauses in chest compressions should be as short as possible.<\/p>\n
