The Prestan 2000 female manikin<\/strong> (PRESTAN Professional Female 2000) is the most advanced female manikin in the PRESTAN series \u2013 a faithfully reproduced female torso with an extended feedback system, for first aid and AED training.<\/p>\n

The free Prestan CPR Feedback app for Android and iOS devices connects wirelessly to the manikin and shows in real time, among other things, compression rate and depth, chest recoil, ventilation and hands-off time. The instructor controls the course of the session, and the trainee gets a detailed analysis of their results. A built-in light indicator (coloured LEDs) shows with each compression whether the trainee is compressing at the correct rate and with the right force, in line with ERC guidelines. A distinctive \u201cclick-clack\u201d signal indicates that the correct depth has been reached, and a resistance mechanism lets you feel when the required compression is exceeded. The trainee sees (LEDs), hears (click-clack) and feels (resistance) \u2013 three real-time feedback channels.<\/p>\n

Visible and palpable landmarks \u2013 ribs, sternum and nipples \u2013 help find the compression point and the AED pad positions. The head must be tilted to open the airway, the chest rises with ventilation, and abdominal thrusts let you practise choking management. The manikin\u2019s skin is easy to wash, and the manikin itself is compact and light. The transport bag in the set can be used as a mat during training. PRESTAN manikins are covered by a 3-year manufacturer\u2019s limited warranty.<\/p>\n

CPR and AED on a woman<\/h2>\n

The CPR rules are the same as for any adult: 30 compressions in the centre of the chest, depth 5\u20136 cm, rate 100\u2013120 per minute, and 2 breaths. Before applying AED pads, expose the chest and remove the bra if it is in the way. Place the side pad under the left armpit, below the breast, not on it.<\/p>\n
