ZOLL AED 3 AED defibrillator<\/strong> in its semi-automatic version is an AED with extensive resuscitation support. Real CPR Help uses a sensor in the electrodes: it measures the depth and rate of compressions on an adult in real time and, with a voice prompt and on-screen message, tells you to push harder or faster, confirming good compressions with the prompt \u201cgood compressions\u201d. A metronome sets the rate for adults and children.<\/p>\n

The colour LCD touchscreen (95 \u00d7 54 mm) shows graphics of the next steps, the time since switch-on, the time to the next analysis, compression depth and the number of shocks. When a shock is advised, the shock button flashes and the rescuer presses it. The universal CPR Uni-padz electrodes for ZOLL AED 3<\/a> are used for adults and children \u2013 child mode is switched on with a button, and the electrodes have a 5-year shelf life.<\/p>\n

Built-in Wi-Fi connects the defibrillator to the PlusTrac system, which notifies you of a failed self-test, e.g. a depleted battery or expired electrodes; rescue data can also be transferred via USB. Self-tests are daily or weekly, and once a month the device performs a full-energy test.
