TRAUMAKIT Mini wound first aid kit<\/strong> is a module designed for treating wounds, cuts and minor bleeding. It can work on its own or as part of the TRAUMAKIT Mini system, which lets you choose the contents to suit specific needs. The module measures 15 x 14 x 7 cm (H x W x D), weighs 0.27 kg and is marked in orange.<\/p>\n

The kit contains: 2 pairs of nitrile gloves in size L (1 envelope), a sterile gauze compress 17N 8W 7.5 x 7.5 cm, a MATOPAT UNIVERSAL elastic bandage 10 cm x 5 m, a Burncare hydrogel dressing 5x15 cm, sterile 17-thread dressing gauze 1\/2m2, 4 disinfectant wipes, a ZPO eye wash, 2 eye dressings 6.5 x 9.5 cm, tick removers, an NRC foil blanket\/thermal blanket and an instruction leaflet. In addition, there are 10 adhesive dressings 1.9 x 7.6 cm and 5 cut-to-size fabric adhesive dressings 6 x 10 cm.<\/p>\n

The kit is intended for companies, public offices and schools, and for private individuals: office and technical staff, pupils, students and people spending time away from home, e.g. on family, scout or cycling trips. Why choose the TRAUMAKIT Mini wound first aid kit?<\/h2>\n

This kit is focused on one task: dressing wounds. Besides the compress, gauze, adhesive dressings and elastic bandage, it contains a hydrogel dressing for burns, an eye wash with eye dressings, and tick removers. Disposable gloves and disinfectant wipes are in the same module. How to use the kit for wounds?<\/h2>\n

First make sure the scene is safe and put on gloves. If the situation is serious, call for help on 999 or 112. For a minor wound, an adhesive dressing or a dressing from the kit is usually enough. For heavier bleeding, apply a sterile compress or gauze directly to the wound and apply pressure; you can hold the dressing in place with the elastic bandage. The NRC foil blanket\/thermal blanket is used to cover the casualty. The kit does not contain a tourniquet - it is a kit for minor wounds, so for life-threatening massive bleeding from a limb, additional equipment is needed.<\/p>\n
