Cederroth Eye Wash is a set of two 500 ml bottles, that is a total of 2x500 ml of sterile isotonic saline solution without preservatives. The solution is single use, and the device is marked with the CE mark.

The fluid is used to flush out foreign bodies and to dilute acids and alkalis that have got into the eye. Each bottle has an ergonomic eye bath for rinsing the eye, which lets the solution flow in a copious stream. The cap protects against dust, and the bottle is opened by twisting.

The set is suitable wherever there is a risk of splashes to the eyes, for example in laboratories, chemical stores and industrial plants. The set includes two 500 ml bottles. Cederroth Eye Wash has an eye bath that makes it easier to rinse the eye with a copious stream of solution.

Why choose Cederroth Eye Wash in a 2x500 ml set?

With an eye injury, time matters, so it is important that the bottle can be opened quickly and without tools. Here one simple movement of the hand is enough, that is, twisting. The eye bath lets you place the bottle against the eye and deliver the solution in a copious stream. Cederroth Eye Wash is CE marked and contains a sterile solution without preservatives.

A set of two 500 ml bottles gives a larger supply of solution than a single bottle, and the sterile saline solution without preservatives is intended for foreign bodies, acids and alkalis. The shelf life is 4.5 years from the date of manufacture, which makes it easier to plan replacement.

Practical use of an eye wash for an eye injury

First, look after your own safety and remove the casualty from the place of contact with the substance. In the case of a splash of acid or alkali, or a foreign body in the eye, reach for the eye wash, place the eye bath against the eye and rinse with a copious stream. The solution is single use, so after opening do not plan to use it again. In the case of a serious injury or persistent symptoms, call for help on 999 or 112.

Assessing the situation quickly is easier if you know how to recognise a hazard, which you can read about in the article Chapter III – Recognising danger.
