TRAUMAKIT Mini bleeding kit<\/strong> is a (K) module from the TRAUMAKIT Mini family, a reduced-size version of the standard modular first aid kits. It focuses on one issue: dressing bleeding wounds. It can be used as a stand-alone set or as part of a larger TRAUMAKIT Mini system.<\/p>\n

Inside you will find: disposable nitrile gloves \"L\" (2 pairs in one envelope), Israeli-type individual dressing 10 cm x 4.5\", MATOPAT UNIVERSAL elastic bandage 10 cm x 5 m, plaster without a dressing 2.5 cm x 5 m, sterile 17-thread dressing gauze 1m2, rescue scissors 16.5 cm, two amputation bags with a seal 23.5 x 30 cm and instructions.<\/p>\n

The set measures 15 x 14 x 7 cm and weighs 0.235 kg, so it fits in a bag or backpack. It is suitable for personal equipment, as well as for companies, public offices and schools where there is a risk of serious injuries. This module contains only what relates to bleeding wounds, which is why it is small and light. The gloves, dressing, gauze, bandage and plaster form a complete set for dressing a wound. The 16.5 cm rescue scissors help to remove clothing, and the two sealable amputation bags measure 23.5 x 30 cm. The TRAUMAKIT Mini bleeding kit comes with rescue scissors 16.5 cm long and two amputation bags with a seal. What to do in case of bleeding?<\/h2>\n

Start with your own safety and the scene, then call for help on 999 or 112. Put on the gloves from the kit. In the case of massive bleeding, apply direct pressure to the wound using gauze or the dressing. If necessary, expose the wound with the scissors. Use the dressing and elastic bandage from the kit once only. Dispose of all used items that have been in contact with blood.<\/p>\n

When bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, the ERC guidelines provide for a tourniquet. It is not included in this module, so you need to have one separately.
