First aid instruction bookmarks<\/strong> are a set of 50 illustrated bookmarks made of coated paper. They are used for a quick revision of what the Participant learned on a first aid course.<\/p>\n

The most important information is collected on both sides of the bookmark, and the illustrations help to recall the individual topics. Each bookmark is a separate paper extra that can be kept after the class.<\/p>\n

The pack contains 50 bookmarks (code AM55). <\/p>\n

How to use the bookmark and what to remember in first aid<\/h2>\n

The bookmark is for revising what you learned on the course and does not replace practical first aid classes. It is worth returning to it regularly and repeating the practical exercises under the supervision of an instructor.<\/p>\n

In an incident, a fixed order applies: first your own safety and the safety of those around you, then assessing the casualty (assessing the casualty's condition<\/a>) and calling for help on 999 or 112. In massive bleeding, direct pressure is applied, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, a tourniquet. A casualty's survival can depend on a bystander taking action.
