The set of 14 Kramer splints<\/strong> is a set of metal splints designed for stiffening and immobilising limb fractures during first aid and rescue operations. The fourteen splints come in nine sizes, so the length and width can be matched to the type of injury and the place of use.<\/p>\n

Contents of the set: 25 \u00d7 5 cm \u2013 2 pcs, 60 \u00d7 7 cm \u2013 2 pcs, 70 \u00d7 7 cm \u2013 2 pcs, 80 \u00d7 10 cm \u2013 1 pc, 80 \u00d7 12 cm \u2013 1 pc, 90 \u00d7 12 cm \u2013 2 pcs, 100 \u00d7 10 cm \u2013 1 pc, 120 \u00d7 12 cm \u2013 1 pc and 150 \u00d7 12 cm \u2013 2 pcs. The splints have disposable covers, and the set includes an R112 carry bag with handles.<\/p>\n

Disposable covers improve hygiene in use and make it easier to prepare the equipment for subsequent interventions, and the R112 bag with handles makes it easier to carry and store the whole set. Rules for using splints for a limb fracture<\/h2>\n

First assess the safety of the scene and call for help on 999 or 112. If the fracture is accompanied by massive bleeding, stopping it takes priority: direct pressure, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening \u2013 a tourniquet. Only then do you move on to immobilisation. The set of 14 kramer splints is KSRG compliant and supplied in an R112 carry bag with handles.<\/p>\n
