TRAUMAKIT EDU non-bleeding wound trainer<\/strong> TRAUMAKIT EDU (code TKE3) is a compact tool for learning the basics of wound packing. The silicone wound model can be used repeatedly, which supports muscle memory and the development of correct habits when giving first aid.<\/p>\n

How to practise on the trainer and what to remember in a real incident<\/h2>\n

Place the trainer on a flat surface so that the suction cup in the base holds it steadily, and practise using the included training gauze. Repeat the action several times, taking care to perform it calmly and in the same order.<\/p>\n

In a real incident, first make sure you are safe and call for help on 999 or 112. In massive bleeding, direct pressure is applied, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, a tourniquet.
