Gunshot wound packing training kit<\/strong> TRAUMAKIT EDU is used to practise the control of massive bleeding using the wound packing technique. The basis is a silicone gunshot wound model measuring 10 \u00d7 10 \u00d7 4 cm, to which active bleeding can be connected. This allows practice in conditions close to real ones.<\/p>\n

The model itself weighs 0.40 kg and stands on a stable base with a suction function, which lets you fix it securely on a flat surface. The whole kit weighs 1.4 kg.<\/p>\n

The kit includes: 1 \u00d7 silicone gunshot wound trainer, 4 \u00d7 compressed training gauze, 1 \u00d7 artificial blood bag with tube and stopper, 1 \u00d7 absorbent pad and a transport case. How to practise with the kit and how to act in massive bleeding<\/h2>\n

Place the trainer on a flat surface and fix it using the suction base. Four compressed training gauzes are used to practise wound packing, and the kit includes an artificial blood bag with tube and stopper for practising with active bleeding.<\/p>\n

In a real incident, first make sure you are safe and call for help on 999 or 112. In massive bleeding, apply direct pressure, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, use a tourniquet.
