ROTAID heating mat<\/strong> is an automatic heating module designed for Rotaid Solid Plus Heat and Rotaid 24\/7 external cabinets. Its purpose is to maintain suitable temperature conditions inside the cabinet and to protect the AED defibrillator inside it during low temperatures.<\/p>\n

The mat is mounted on the rear wall of the cabinet and works with a thermostat, which automatically switches the heating on when the temperature falls below a specified level. Heat is distributed inside the housing, and control takes place without manual switching on and off. The total power of the heating system is 92 W.<\/p>\n

The ROTAID heating mat<\/strong> on offer is supplied with a power supply. For it to work, the cabinet must be permanently connected to mains power, and the module works with the power system intended for Rotaid cabinets.<\/p>\n

Why is a ROTAID heating mat useful for an AED outdoors?<\/h2>\n

An AED mounted outside a building is exposed to changing weather conditions all year round. A suitable storage temperature helps protect the battery, whose performance may drop in very low temperatures, and the electrodes, especially the conductive gel on them. This also applies to the other parts of the device, which must be stored within the temperature range specified by the defibrillator manufacturer.<\/p>\n

ROTAID heating mat<\/strong> is suited to year-round use of an outdoor AED cabinet. The system can keep the temperature inside the cabinet suitable for the AED even at an outside temperature of around -20\u00b0C. The heating is switched on by the thermostat, so it does not depend on someone remembering to turn it on.<\/p>\n

The mat is mounted on the rear wall of the cabinet. Before ordering, check the cabinet model: the module is intended for Rotaid Solid Plus Heat and Rotaid 24\/7. Because the mat requires the cabinet to be permanently connected to mains power, it is worth planning the cabinet's location so that such a power supply is available.<\/p>\n
