TRAUMA KIT burns modular first aid kit<\/strong> is a set designed for dressing burns. It is based on Burncare hydrogel dressings in three sizes: 5 cm x 5 cm (6 pcs), 5 cm x 15 cm (4 pcs) and 10 cm x 10 cm (5 pcs). The set also includes 2.5 cm x 5 m tape, dressing nets no. 4 and no. 8 (30 cm each), two pairs of nitrile gloves in size L and an instruction leaflet.<\/p>\n

You can keep the module as a stand-alone set or add it to a larger TRAUMA KIT modular first aid kit. It is suitable for places with an increased risk of burns, such as restaurants, workplace kitchens and other workplaces, as well as at home, in the office and when travelling.<\/p>\n

It comes in two colour versions. The orange one contains one NRC foil (thermal blanket), the green one two. The green version is described as the version for field use, uniformed services and shooting ranges. With a burn, what matters is cooling the injured area quickly and protecting it with a dressing. This module is built around that task: Burncare hydrogel dressings in three sizes let you match the dressing to the size of the burn, and the dressing nets help to hold it in place. Hydrogel dressings have a high water content and do not stick to the wound, which makes them easier to change. When you choose a TRAUMA KIT burns modular first aid kit, you get hydrogel dressings in three sizes and 2.5 cm x 5 m tape. The set also takes into account protecting the casualty from heat loss, which is what the NRC foil is for. How to act in the case of a burn using this set<\/h2>\n

First look after your own safety and remove the source of the burn if you can do so safely. Put on gloves, cool the burned area under cool running water for 10\u201320 minutes, then protect it with a hydrogel dressing of the right size. If the burn is extensive or affects the airways, eyes or groin, call for help on 999 or 112. Secure the dressing with a net or tape. Cover the casualty with NRC foil to prevent heat loss.<\/p>\n
