TRAUMA KIT fracture first aid kit<\/strong> is module Z designed for treating limb injuries: a suspected fracture, dislocation or sprain. You can use it on its own or add it to a larger modular TRAUMA KIT first aid kit. <\/p>\n

The set includes: disposable nitrile gloves size \u201cL\u201d (2 pairs), Sam Splint type splint 46x11 cm (1 pc), MATOPAT UNIVERSAL elastic bandage 12 cm (4 pcs), knitted bandage 10 cm x 4 m (4 pcs), sterile 17-thread dressing gauze 1\/2 m\u00b2 (2 pcs), cotton triangular bandage (1 pc), NRC foil, i.e. a thermal blanket (1 pc), and instructions.<\/p>\n

The module comes in two colour versions: orange and green. Both have similar dimensions: 13 x 22 cm and approx. 9 cm deep. Its compact form makes it easy to carry and store. TRAUMA KIT fracture first aid kit<\/strong> fits in a module measuring 13 x 22 cm and approx. 9 cm deep.<\/p>\n

The splint, bandages, triangular bandage, gauze and gloves are all collected in one small module, and the included instructions help someone without experience to act. If a limb injury is suspected, the TRAUMA KIT fracture first aid kit<\/strong> gives you a splint, bandages and a triangular bandage close at hand.<\/p>\n

When any item is used up, you simply replace it.<\/p>\n

What to do when a fracture or dislocation is suspected<\/h2>\n

First make sure the scene is safe and put on gloves. Call for help on 999 or 112, especially when the injury is serious or the casualty is in a poor condition. Assess their condition, and in the case of massive bleeding apply direct pressure; a tourniquet is indicated when life-threatening bleeding from a limb occurs. Immobilise the injured limb with the splint, bandages and triangular bandage, and cover the casualty with NRC foil. Until help arrives, monitor them and do not leave them alone.<\/p>\n
