TRAUMA KIT CPR personal protection KIT is a module designed for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation safely and for protecting the person giving help. It can be used on its own or as part of the larger, modular TRAUMA KIT system.

The set includes: a CPR Pocket Mask, a high-protection-class mask, a three-layer protective mask, splash-proof protective goggles compliant with EN-166, two pairs of disposable nitrile gloves in size L and two in size M, a reflective vest and a head torch. These are supplemented by 16.5 cm metal rescue scissors, 50 ml antibacterial disinfectant gel, four 70% disinfectant wipes, an NRC foil (thermal blanket), a rescue whistle, 10 plasters with dressing 1.9x7.6 cm, a red medical waste bag, a medical razor and an instruction leaflet.

The kit comes in two colour versions: orange and green. The green version is described as adapted to the needs of the defence sector, uniformed services and shooting ranges. Both versions have the same list of contents. TRAUMA KIT CPR personal protection KIT combines a ventilation mask with equipment that protects the eyes, hands and airways of the person giving help.

Why choose the TRAUMA KIT CPR personal protection KIT?

During mouth-to-mouth ventilation, the Pocket Mask protects against contact with body fluids such as blood or saliva. Nitrile gloves and splash-proof goggles protect the person giving help, and the high-protection-class mask filters at least 95% of airborne particles. The Ratowacze Shop offers TRAUMA KIT CPR personal protection KIT in orange and green versions, with the same list of contents.

The head torch weighs 18 g and has a 10W COB LED, three lighting modes, an adjustable strap and an ABS housing. The reflective vest increases the Rescuer's visibility in difficult lighting conditions or when working on the road. The carbon steel rescue scissors have an ergonomic design, are temperature resistant and can be sterilised. The disinfectant wipes have bactericidal, yeasticidal and virucidal action. The module is useful in companies, public offices and schools, as well as at home and when travelling. Rules for using the kit during CPR

First, assess the safety of the scene and put on the gloves and goggles. If the casualty is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 999 or 112, start chest compressions and, if one is available, use an AED. If you are able to perform mouth-to-mouth ventilation, do it through the Pocket Mask. A bystander taking action can decide whether the casualty survives.

The 3-layer mask can be put on the casualty to protect them from external factors. Place used disposable items in the red medical waste bag. The course of resuscitation is described in the article Basic life support: CPR.
