TRAUMA KIT emergency first aid kit<\/strong> is module S of the TRAUMA KIT system. It can be used on its own or as part of a larger set. It contains glucose tablets, an eye wash, eye dressings, a cooling spray, hand warmers, a chemical light and nitrile gloves. It also has space for an adrenaline auto-injector.<\/p>\n

Inside you will find: disposable nitrile gloves size \u201cL\u201d (2 pairs), Dextro Energy Classic glucose tablets (1 pack), hand warmers (2 pairs), dry ice 100 g (1 pc), eye wash 200 ml (1 pc), eye dressings (2 pcs), tweezers (1 pc), resealable bags for amputated body parts (2 pcs), chemical light (1 pc), cooling spray for injuries 200 ml (1 pc) and instructions.<\/p>\n

The module comes in two colours: orange and green. The orange version has a distinctive grey marking. The green version is described as suited to the needs of people in the defence sector and shooting range owners. The contents of both versions are the same, and the orange one has metal tweezers. The module is suitable for work, mass events, extreme sports and group trips, as well as for the home, office and travel. Why is the TRAUMA KIT emergency first aid kit a separate module?<\/h2>\n

The glucose tablets are for a drop in blood sugar, for example after intense exertion or a missed meal. The space for an adrenaline auto-injector is intended for allergic reactions. Two resealable bags are used to protect amputated body parts. The chemical light is activated by bending the tube, so it works in poor lighting. How to use the TRAUMA KIT emergency first aid kit in practice?<\/h2>\n

First, check whether the scene is safe and call for help on 999 or 112. Put on the nitrile gloves from the kit. Give glucose tablets only to a conscious person who can swallow them unaided. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person; wait for the emergency services and monitor their condition. The kit does not contain items for stopping massive bleeding. In such a situation you call for help, apply direct pressure to the wound, and if bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, apply a tourniquet.
