TRAUMA KIT evacuation modular first aid kit<\/strong> (module E, code TKS9) is a set for leading a group during an evacuation, not a classic dressing set. In the Oxford pack you will find a reflective vest with markings, two children's evacuation tapes, four NRC foils (thermal blankets) and instructions.<\/p>\n

The module is intended for schools, nurseries, offices and other institutions, as well as for teachers, group leaders and parents. According to the wholesaler, the set is intended for a group of up to 20 people. The evacuation tapes can be joined together, so the supervisor can adjust the way the children are led to the number of people in the group. The set has buckles adapted to children's hands and picture codes that let the supervisor quickly check that no one has got lost.<\/p>\n

How to use the set during an evacuation<\/h2>\n

Before use, read the instructions included with the set. The vest is put on by the person responsible for evacuating the group. The evacuation tapes are joined depending on the number of children the supervisor is looking after. It is good for supervisors to know the contents of the module and where it is stored before an incident occurs.<\/p>\n

If someone is injured during an incident, first make sure of your own safety and the safety of the group, then call for help on 999 or 112. This module does not include dressings or a tourniquet. In massive bleeding, direct pressure is applied, and a tourniquet is applied when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening. A casualty's survival may depend on a bystander taking action.
