TRAUMA KIT stretcher in a slim pouch<\/strong> is the STRETCHER module (N) from the TRAUMA KIT modular first aid kit system. The set is a compromise between full-size, strong stretchers and the maximum level of compression. It lets you safely evacuate a casualty lying down from a danger zone and, at the same time, look after their thermal comfort.<\/p>\n

The set includes an ultralight fabric stretcher and two NRC foils (thermal blanket). The waterproof material of the stretcher provides good insulation, and the foils additionally protect the casualty from heat loss. The edging and handles are made of ripstop webbing.<\/p>\n

The module comes in two colours: orange and green. The green version belongs to the military edition of TRAUMA KIT, which also includes modules, backpacks and cases. Before moving the casualty, assess whether the danger still exists, and ensure your own safety. Call for help on 999 or 112. If there is massive bleeding, apply direct pressure, and for life-threatening bleeding from a limb, use a tourniquet. Only then plan the evacuation.
