Resusci Anne QCPR Torso manikin<\/strong> is a cardiopulmonary resuscitation training manikin in the torso version, that is, without limbs. It simulates an adult of average physiology and anatomy. It is supplied in a soft bag that also serves as a practice mat, and this version is designed to work with the AED Laerdal Trainer defibrillator.<\/p>\n

Resusci Anne QCPR Torso manikin<\/strong> has a tilting head, a jaw that can be thrust forward, a chest that rises during ventilation and realistic resistance during compressions. The sensors identify the correct compression point, and the simulated carotid pulse lets you practise finding and checking it. The chest stiffness can be adjusted.<\/p>\n

The set includes: manikin, face pieces, replaceable airways, carry bag serving as a practice mat, additional chest springs (hard and soft) and an instruction manual.<\/p>\n

Resusci Anne QCPR Torso manikin<\/strong> gives the Trainee the chance to practise compressions and rescue breaths in a hands-on way, something that must not be practised on another person. The Resusci Anne QCPR Torso manikin replicates chest resistance, chest movement during ventilation, head tilt and jaw thrust, so the practice is close to real actions.<\/p>\n

Combined with the separately available SimPad SkillReporter, SkillGuide and Wireless SkillReporter Software, you can measure the quality of CPR, including compression depth, breath volume and correct compression point, and the instructor can assess progress. How to practise on the manikin: CPR principles<\/h2>\n

Before practising a scenario, it is worth starting with what applies in a real incident: ensure your own safety and the casualty's, check their response and breathing, call for help on 999 or 112, and then begin chest compressions, adding rescue breaths only if the Trainee is trained to give them. The manikin lets you practise these actions without risk to another person.<\/p>\n
