Little Anne replacement filters are a consumable for the NEW Laerdal Little Anne manikin. The filter is used during mouth-to-mouth rescue breathing practice. The pack contains 60 pieces, and the catalogue number is 135-11050.

The filters use a Technostat T-150(+) insert, which has low air resistance. In tests with NaCl particles of 0.6 µm, with no load, penetration was 1.8%. For the Technostat filter, an efficiency of 99.99% in filtering viruses and bacteria is stated for aerosol particles larger than 2.7 µm. The filter has a double-sided design, and a single piece measures 2 x 4 x 4 cm (h x w x d).

The product is useful wherever hands-on practice is carried out on Little Anne manikins, for example in companies, public offices, schools and training centres. Little Anne replacement filters have low air resistance, so they do not make it harder to practise rescue breaths.

Why are Little Anne replacement filters replaced after every session?

Replacing the filter after every session is a matter of hygiene and safety for those practising. Regular replacement also helps you avoid having to replace more expensive parts, such as the manikin's lungs. Little Anne replacement filters in a pack of 60 pieces have the catalogue number 135-11050.

The filter is disposable, so a pack of 60 pieces lets you replace it after every session without reaching for a used one. You will find other parts and consumables in the category manikin accessories.

How to use the filter during rescue breathing practice

Treat the filter as a disposable item: after the session has finished, replace it with a new one and do not go back to the used one. Before you start practising, check that a fresh filter is fitted in the manikin.

Practice on a manikin prepares you for a real incident, in which you first make sure it is safe and call for help on 999 or 112. You can practise the ventilation technique using the article Mouth-to-mouth in practice: how to ventilate a casualty correctly?
