Burnshield large hydrogel dressing kit<\/strong> is a set of 43 items in a nylon bag, intended for first aid for burns. The core is made up of hydrogel dressings: 5 pieces of 100x100 mm (4\u2033x4\u2033), 5 pieces of 200x200 mm (8\u2033x8\u2033), 3 pieces of 600x400 mm (24\u2033x16\u2033), 5 finger dressings (25 mm x 0.5 m) and 3 limb dressings (50 mm x 1 m). In addition there is hydrogel: 4 spray packs of 125 ml (4.5 Oz) each and 2 packs of 1 l (33.81 Oz).<\/p>\n

The set is completed by Burnshield Contour 1x1 m (40\u2033x40\u2033) and 1x2 m (40\u2033x80\u2033), 2 knitted bandages of 100 mm, self-adhesive dressing tape, 4 self-adhesive dressing bandages, 2 x Levtex gloves, metal scissors, an adult emergency blanket, a 20 ml syringe and 2 x 1 l purified water.<\/p>\n

The kit is for people who want a complete set for dressing thermal, sun and chemical burns and superficial skin wounds in one bag. Burnshield large hydrogel dressing kit<\/strong> contains hydrogel dressings in five versions, including separate ones for fingers and limbs.<\/p>\n

Why a Burnshield large hydrogel dressing kit?<\/h2>\n

Hydrogel is applied to the burn straight after the accident. Its purpose is to cool the skin, protect it against infection and limit the extent of damage to deeper tissues. The semi-liquid formula spreads easily over the burnt area, and the gel itself is gentle on the skin and easy to remove from the wound. It can also be used on children. Burns \u2013 how to use the kit<\/h2>\n

First make sure that the scene is safe and that the source of the burn does not endanger you or the casualty. Call for help on 999 or 112 if the burn is serious, and if other people are nearby, ask one of them to make the call. Put on the gloves from the kit before touching the wound.<\/p>\n
