The dressing contains an advanced three-dimensional gel matrix. On contact with blood it changes into a strongly adhesive structure that stabilises the wound and stops the bleeding. The haemostatic gauze makes it possible to achieve effective haemostasis within a few minutes. The gauze can absorb blood up to 25 times its own weight. The haemostatic effect can last for up to 24 hours.<\/p>\n
