How about meeting outdoors? We are happy to take our workshops beyond the training room. We set up demonstration and workshop stands in the field. Whether it's a picnic, a camp, a festival or a meeting with tourists – let us know and we will come with our tent full of equipment, run open workshops for the locals, and at the end of the day we will all chill out together.

Outdoor Workshops
Demonstration and workshop stand: first aid basics for everyone
| Training programme | Topic | What will you learn? |
| Chain of survival | Assessing the casualty and safety rules when giving first aid | |
| Massive Bleeding Control | We will teach you how to quickly stop life-threatening bleeding. You will learn about dedicated dressings (tourniquets, individual dressings), and during the exercises you will dress our role player | |
| CPR | Practical workshops on cardiopulmonary resuscitation using interactive manikins | |
| Ambulance race | Test your skills in practice by competing with other Participants. The rules are simple: the better the quality of your CPR – the better your chance of reaching the podium | |
| Using an AED | How to use an AED correctly – a device that increases the casualty's chance of survival in cardiac arrest | |
| Choking | Responding to choking – how to remove a foreign object from a casualty's airway | |
| Medical emergencies | First aid in medical emergencies – we will teach you to respond to allergic reactions (using adrenaline) and diabetic problems (giving glucagon), and we will discuss the principles of first aid in medical emergencies | |
| Injuries | You will learn how to give first aid for the most common injuries, minimising pain and the risk of complications: fractures, dislocations, burns, bleeding, chest, abdominal and limb wounds | |
| Unconscious casualty | You will learn how to deal with an unconscious but breathing casualty until the ambulance arrives. The workshop part includes the recovery position and protection against cooling. | |
| Also on the programme | Throughout the event we run a stand with dressings designed for different types of injuries, answer Participants' questions and advise on how to put together a first aid kit wisely, suited to needs and situations (home, car, travel). This offer presents a sample event programme, focusing on the most needed skills that genuinely improve residents' safety. The programme gives an estimated length for each module; we can run a maximum of 2 modules at the same time. Depending on your needs, we can arrange the workshops step by step as shown in the table or in cycles – repeating individual modules at set times. We can also organise a competition with prizes for participants – details to be agreed individually when tailoring the offer. Regardless of the agreed schedule, Participants can use any of the training equipment presented during the Event at any time, with the support of our Ratowacze. | |

Outdoor first aid workshops
We organise first aid workshops as a demonstration and workshop stand – at any location chosen by the organiser: a picnic, fair, local festival, camp or meeting with tourists. It is a whole day of demonstrations, realistic simulations and exercises open to everyone – adults, young people and children. We are invited by companies, schools, municipalities and local organisations.
Workshop programme
- The chain of survival, assessing the casualty and safety rules.
- Controlling massive bleeding – tourniquets and individual dressings, exercises with a role player.
- CPR on interactive manikins and the “ambulance race” – a competition for the best quality resuscitation.
- Using an AED, dealing with choking.
- Medical emergencies, injuries (fractures, dislocations, burns, wounds), unconscious casualty – the recovery position and protection against cooling.
We can run the modules one after another or in cycles at set times – a maximum of two at once. Throughout the event Participants can use the training equipment with the support of our Ratowacze, and at the stand we advise on putting together a home, car or travel first aid kit. On request we organise a competition with prizes.
First aid in the mountains, outdoors and survival
We can adapt outdoor workshops to field conditions – for tourists, travel groups or survival course Participants. We then focus on what matters most in the field: controlling bleeding, treating injuries and immobilising limbs, protection against cooling, and acting when help arrives later than in a city. Read more about cooling in the article First aid for hypothermia.
First aid workshops for children, at school and nursery
We adapt the workshops to the Participants' age – children learn through play and competition, adults through simulations and exercises. If you need training for all the staff of a school or company, see first aid training, and for bigger events – the first aid zone.
