Professional first aid workshops combined with Team building
| Training programme | Topic | What will you learn? | Format | Time |
| What to do at the scene | 1. Chaos at the scene? Not after our course! We will teach you a proven plan of action: how to check for danger, call for help, give help and manage the situation at the scene effectively whatever the circumstances (office, road incident, production hall, field work, other) 2. We will show you how to effectively get bystanders involved, explaining the psychological aspects of giving first aid 3. We will show you how to examine a casualty and assess their vital functions (checking consciousness, dealing with a conscious / unconscious casualty, opening the airway, checking breathing) 4. You will learn what the recovery position looks like for an unconscious, non-trauma casualty and how to place a casualty in it depending on the position they were in 5. You will understand when you should evacuate with the casualty and when it is better to stay put, and you will also learn casualty evacuation techniques | Practical workshops | 60 | |
| Practical BLS-AED exercises | 1. Practical exercises on training manikins: individually and in pairs – effective CPR; team CPR competition – the interactive QCPR “ambulance race” app (Team building elements) 2. Effective use of an AED during CPR: optionally – a simulation of quickly reaching the AED in your company and returning to the casualty – practical conclusions and recommendations for the health & safety department | Practical workshops | 120 | |
| When procedures fail – dealing with a trauma casualty | 1. Stopping massive bleeding, dealing with an object embedded in the body, securing fractures, first aid for burns 2. Presentation and exercises with specialist dressings: tourniquets, specialist dressings (Israeli type, OLAES, A.C.T, chest seals, SPLINT splints) 3. Optionally: familiarising employees with the first aid kits and medical equipment available in the company – increasing readiness for a quick response casualty in a vehicle – evacuation techniques | Practical workshops | 90 | |
| First aid in medical emergencies | 1. Heart attack, stroke, seizure (epileptic fit), severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis, e.g. to stings), diabetic problems, poisoning, dramatic coughing / choking, as well as fainting, feeling faint, loss of consciousness, heatstroke or hypothermia – these are unplanned situations that can happen anywhere 2. We will teach you to recognise their symptoms and respond correctly to selected medical emergencies | Practical workshops | 90 | |
| The grand finale – emergency scenario simulations! | At the end of a day full of experiences, we will prepare simulations that test the skills gained in the previous modules. For each of them we will run a simulation with role players. Example scenarios: 1. Sudden cardiac arrest – CPR with an AED required 2. A medical scenario (e.g. simulated heart attack, seizure, allergic reaction, choking) 3. A dedicated emergency specific to the Client's industry (construction, production, office): fall from height / limb amputation – massive bleeding / burns / open fracture | Practical workshops | 120 | |
| Customisation | This offer describes a standard course covering the basics everyone should know. If you have other needs, want the course to cover specific situations and ways of responding that interest you – let us know, we will adapt the offer especially for you and create a training tailored to your needs! | |||
| Introduction | Every day, something unexpected can happen at work. An accident at work, a heart attack, a stroke, sudden choking or a severe allergic reaction – these are unplanned situations that can lead to sudden cardiac arrest. The statistics are merciless – fewer than 10% of people with sudden cardiac arrest survive until the emergency services arrive. The average waiting time for an ambulance in Poland is around 20 minutes (Supreme Audit Office data for 2025), while it is the first 4 minutes that decide the casualty's life or death. Do the employees of your Organisation know how to respond in an emergency? Our workshops not only meet the health & safety requirements for employers, but above all are an investment in employee safety and give a real chance of saving a life – the most important skill of all. Invite us to your Company and we will turn your employees into real Ratowacze! |
