The Aivia 200 V3 defibrillator cabinet (Heating Fanning Alarm, Pyrescom) is a wall-mounted AED cabinet for use outside and inside buildings. A heating film switches on automatically when the temperature inside drops below +10°C, and a fan when it exceeds +30°C. This protects the defibrillator, its battery and electrodes from frost, overheating and moisture.
The ABS-PC body and the UV- and fire-resistant polycarbonate door (UL94-V0) give an IP54 rating and IK10 impact resistance. When the door is opened, a 90 dB audible alarm (every 30 seconds for 3 minutes) and a red LED are activated, and the LED only goes out once the service key or app is used – a signal to check whether the AED has been returned to the cabinet and works. Adaptive lighting with a dusk sensor helps find the cabinet at night.
The cabinet runs a self-test every week and records the event history – you can read the data, errors and alerts with a smartphone via NFC, and set the lighting and alarm volume in the Aivia Settings app. It fits standard AED models and meets EU-MDR (2017/745) and IEC 60601-1. This set includes a power supply. The Aivia 200 V3 defibrillator cabinet provides 24/7 access to the AED.
Why the Aivia 200 V3 defibrillator cabinet?
An AED outside a building is available 24/7. Automatic heating and ventilation protect the battery and electrodes, and the weekly self-test and NFC readout make it easier for the custodian to check readiness. The Aivia 200 V3 defibrillator cabinet monitors the internal temperature itself.
Other models are Aivia 210 and Aivia 300. You will find them all in the category outdoor AED cabinets.
An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
