The Aivia 230 defibrillator cabinet (Aivia 230 Heating Alarm 4G/GSM) is an AED defibrillator cabinet for mounting outside a building – at the entrance, on the facade or in a public place. It consists of a polycarbonate cover (door) with a UV filter and an ABS body – materials resistant to impact and weather. On the front there is an AED symbol, opening instructions and a simplified chain of survival graphic, and the AED symbol is also on the sides.
Model features: audible and visual alarm on opening, night lighting, heating and cooling module (fan), GSM module making calls when opened, keypad code opening. The heating module and fan keep the inside at a temperature at which the defibrillator, its battery and electrodes work properly – in winter and in hot weather. When the door is opened, an audible and visual alarm is activated, and at night the cabinet is indicated by the lighting. When the cabinet is opened, the GSM module makes phone calls, and the keypad lets you open the cabinet with a code.
The cabinet measures 42.3 × 38.8 × 20.1 cm and runs on 24 V – you need the 24V power supply for Aivia cabinets, sold separately. The Aivia 230 defibrillator cabinet provides 24/7 access to the AED.
Why the Aivia 230 defibrillator cabinet?
An AED outside a building is available 24/7 – even when the building is closed. Without heating and ventilation, frost or heat could damage the battery and electrodes. The code protects the AED from accidental opening, and GSM informs the custodian of every use. If the cabinet is locked with a code, make sure it is quickly available in an emergency – e.g. from the dispatcher, security or on a sign next to the cabinet. The Aivia 230 defibrillator cabinet requires a 24 V power supply to be connected.

An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
