The GSM SMS module for Aivia cabinets is a notification module fitted in Aivia defibrillator cabinets. When the cabinet is opened, it sends a text message to up to 6 saved phone numbers – e.g. to security, reception or the AED custodian. It can also send an SMS when the cabinet is closed.
When ordering an Aivia cabinet with a GSM module, provide: an active nano-size SIM card without a PIN code, the SMS text and the list of numbers to which messages should be sent when the cabinet is opened and/or closed.
The cabinet with the module is supplied configured, tested and ready for installation. The GSM SMS module for Aivia cabinets notifies security when the cabinet is opened.
Why the GSM SMS module for Aivia cabinets?
An SMS notification immediately tells you that someone has taken the defibrillator – you can send a trained employee to the scene and, after the rescue, quickly check and restock the AED. The GSM SMS module for Aivia cabinets requires a nano SIM card without a PIN.
You will find Aivia cabinets in the category indoor AED cabinets.
An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
