TRAUMAKIT PRO R1 defibrillator pouch is a module of the R1 Modular Kit, designed for storing and carrying a Philips FRx defibrillator. The pockets inside are intended for: a Philips FRx AED defibrillator, a paediatric key, one pair of Philips FRx Smart Pads II therapeutic pads and a TRAUMA KIT – rescue kit.
The pouch is available without contents, so the defibrillator, pads, key and rescue kit must be put together separately. It measures approx. 32x17x10 cm and is made of polyamide. The inner pockets have fields for describing their contents, and the back has a white field for the owner's details.
The design allows you to take the module away from the scene without having to close it, and the handles let you pull it out of a backpack or case. The modules are compatible with AUER backpacks and cases, and the R1 Modular Kit can be expanded with further modules. TRAUMAKIT PRO R1 defibrillator pouch has a white field on the back where you can write the name, surname or contact details of the owner.
Why choose the TRAUMAKIT PRO R1 defibrillator pouch?
The defibrillator, paediatric key, pads and rescue kit each have their own compartment in this pouch, so they are not loose in a single bag. The labelled pockets make it easier to find the item you need, and after use they help you see what is missing and needs to be replaced. TRAUMAKIT PRO R1 defibrillator pouch lets you take the module away from the scene without having to close it.
The white field on the back is useful when several groups use identical kits: the owner's details written on it reduce the risk of mix-ups. If you are putting together a modular kit for companies, public offices and schools, see also other products in the category Rescue kits. The TRAUMAKIT PRO R1 defibrillator pouch is sold without the defibrillator, pads, paediatric key and rescue kit.
How to use the pouch with a defibrillator and rescue kit
Label the pockets according to what you actually put in them, and write the owner's details in the field on the back. After each use, check the contents of the module and replace anything missing, so that the next use does not start with searching for equipment.
At the scene, first assess safety and call 999 or 112. If the casualty is unresponsive and not breathing normally, start chest compressions and use the AED according to the device's instructions. For massive bleeding, direct pressure is applied, and a tourniquet is applied when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening. Action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives. You can read more about the device in the article Chapter VIII – Automated external defibrillator (AED).
