Little Anne replacement lungs are training airways sold in packs of 6. They are designed for the NEW Laerdal Little Anne manikin and are responsible for making the manikin's chest rise when a Participant gives rescue breaths.

Each lung is fitted with a valve and a ventilation patch. The manufacturer describes them as compatible with Little Anne manikins and easy to fit.

The set contains 6 lungs. It is useful for companies, public offices and schools, and wherever resuscitation practice is carried out on Little Anne manikins. Little Anne replacement lungs give visible chest rise with every rescue breath given.

Why choose Little Anne replacement lungs?

When practising rescue breaths, the Participant should be able to see whether their breath makes the chest rise. The lungs in this pack provide that visible chest rise, which allows practice in conditions close to real ones. When you choose Little Anne replacement lungs, you get a pack of 6 with a valve and a ventilation patch in each airway.

A pack of 6 gives you a stock of airways for the manikin. You will find other manikin components in the category manikin accessories.

Rescue breaths on a manikin – practical use

The lungs are designed for the Little Anne manikin and are used to practise giving rescue breaths. Before fitting them, make sure you have a manikin from the Little Anne family, with which the lungs are compatible.

Practising breaths makes sense within the whole sequence of actions: first make sure the scene is safe, then assess the casualty's condition and call for help on 999 or 112. A bystander taking action can decide whether the casualty survives. You will find more about the technique in the article Mouth-to-mouth in practice: how to ventilate a casualty correctly?
