Little Anne manikin adaptation is a service for Customers who want to run courses using a Philips defibrillator. The manikin is updated to a version compatible with this defibrillator.
The installed module works with the AED. Thanks to it, a defibrillator connected to the manikin behaves as if it were connected to a patient's skin and recommends carrying out defibrillation by itself. In this way, the training scenario gains elements of smart (non-forced) defibrillation.
The service applies only to the Little Anne manikin. It is ordered by adding the “manikin adaptation” item to the basket. Little Anne manikin adaptation adds elements of smart (non-forced) defibrillation to the training scenario.
What is the Little Anne manikin adaptation for?
Little Anne manikin adaptation changes the way the manikin works with the AED. The installed module makes a Philips defibrillator connected to the manikin behave as if it were connected to a patient's skin. The course instructor can therefore include in the scenario a stage at which the device itself recommends carrying out defibrillation.

How do you practise on the manikin after the adaptation?
During exercises, the defibrillator connected to the manikin responds as if it were connected to a patient's skin, and the recommendation to carry out defibrillation appears by itself. A Participant can therefore follow the device's recommendations, and the instructor can plan the scenario around that moment.
In a real incident, the sequence follows the ERC guidelines: first safety, then calling for help on 999 or 112, starting chest compressions and using an AED as soon as one is available.
