The Mindray BeneHeart C-series battery is a 4200 mAh lithium-manganese (Li-MnO2) battery, fully compatible with Mindray BeneHeart C-series AED defibrillators, including the BeneHeart C1A and BeneHeart C2.
Expected standby life – with a daily self-test and no report generation – is approx. 5 years; total life is 5–6 years depending on the defibrillator's operating mode. The battery allows up to 400 shocks or 15 hours of continuous operation.
It is a disposable battery – it cannot be recharged. It measures 178 × 74.8 × 29.7 mm and comes with a 12-month warranty. Its long standby life means it does not need frequent replacement.
The Mindray BeneHeart C-series battery is a part worth remembering together with the electrodes for the BeneHeart C series – both items have a limited shelf life.
Why the original Mindray BeneHeart C-series battery?
The BeneHeart defibrillator checks its status every day, and the battery powers the self-tests and the whole rescue. The original Mindray BeneHeart C-series battery has the specifications the manufacturer designed the device for – a guarantee that the AED will deliver the required number of shocks at the critical moment.
You will find other batteries in the category AED defibrillator batteries.
An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
