AED electrodes – how to apply them?
On an adult, place one electrode below the right collarbone, next to the breastbone, and the other on the left side of the chest, below the armpit. The skin must be bare and dry – if necessary, dry it or remove excess hair. The electrodes are single-use: they must be replaced after use in a rescue, after the packaging has been opened or after the expiry date.
