R1 Emermed modular backpack from the R112 line is a 75-litre rescue backpack in which equipment is arranged in 8 removable modules. Each module is colour-coded and labelled, and opening a single zip gives access to all modules.

The backpack has adjustable straps, a hip belt and three handles for carrying by hand. On the outside there are pouches for disposable gloves, and the reflective elements on the backpack and straps increase the visibility of the Rescuer. The zip is splash-resistant. The backpack is made of COMPLAN, and its base has an additional HYPALON coating.

Two variants are available: with yellow 3M reflective tapes and with grey tapes. The dimensions, capacity and weight are the same in both versions. The photos are for illustration only, and the backpack is sold without contents. R1 Emermed modular backpack has three handles, so it can also be carried by hand.

Why is the R1 Emermed modular backpack a good choice for organising equipment?

R1 Emermed modular backpack lets you divide equipment into eight parts and take out only the one you need at the moment. The colour codes and labels on the modules shorten the search, and the option to personalise the labels and arrange the modules individually lets you adapt the backpack to the needs of a particular unit.

The empty backpack weighs 3 kg, and its dimensions are 44 cm (W) x 32 cm (D) x 61 cm (H). If you want ready-made contents, see the rescue kits category and choose the contents of the modules to suit your team's tasks. When choosing the R1 Emermed modular backpack, you can personalise the module labels and arrange them according to the unit's needs.

How to use the R1 backpack in practice?

The backpack contains a removable information panel with a diagram of medical rescue procedures and ranges of vital signs, as well as a QR code leading to information about the bag's contents. The contents of the modules should match the team's tasks and be labelled, and specialist equipment in the backpack should only be used by a trained person.

At the scene, first assess safety, then call for help on 999 or 112. In massive bleeding, apply direct pressure, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, use a tourniquet. The order of examination is described in the article Assessing the casualty.
