The panel SkillGuide Little QCPR is a Laerdal device that turns a QCPR manikin into a tool with objective assessment of resuscitation quality. It is designed to work with Laerdal Resusci QCPR manikins, and thanks to the extra cable included in the set – also with Little QCPR manikins.
The screen shows measurements of the exercise in progress: compression depth and rate, ventilation volume and chest recoil errors. The trainee immediately sees what they are doing well and what needs improving, and the instructor does not have to judge CPR quality by eye.
After the exercise, the SkillGuide Little QCPR displays a summary: the percentage of correctly performed compressions and ventilations, the time spent on resuscitation and the flow time. The device has three operating modes – displaying live results, recording results and summarising the training session.
The panel is a good addition to the Laerdal Little Anne QCPR or Little Junior QCPRmanikins. For Resusci QCPR manikins we also offer SkillGuide in the Resusci QCPR version.
Why train with the SkillGuide Little QCPR panel?
Even an experienced instructor cannot tell by eye whether a compression was 4, 5 or 6 cm deep, or whether the chest fully recoiled. Objective measurement makes feedback specific, and the trainee has a clear goal – to improve their score. SkillGuide Little QCPR works well both on courses for laypeople and on advanced training for rescuers.

Chest recoil – an often overlooked element of CPR
After each compression the chest must fully return to its original shape – only then can the heart fill with blood before the next compression. Leaning on the chest between compressions is a common mistake that reduces the effectiveness of CPR, so it is worth catching during training.
