The DefibSafe 3 DS3 cabinet (orange, code 95001) protects the AED from extreme temperatures and moisture, which can weaken the battery, degrade the electrode gel or damage the electronics. The ABS and polycarbonate housing with a door seal has an IP66 rating – it protects against dust, water and even sea spray. The tinted UV-coated cover shields the AED from the sun.
The automatic temperature management system switches on heating when it is below 5°C inside and ventilation above 30°C. The LCD display shows temperature, humidity and door status. The LED ring around the cabinet lights up green when the AED is ready and red when the cabinet is open. The interior lights up at night (light sensor), and opening the door triggers an audible alarm.
The cabinet operates from -20 to +50°C. Power: input 100–240 V 50/60 Hz, output 12 V – the power supply is included, together with a bracket with mounting accessories and an information sign. Dimensions: 52 × 52 × 22 cm, weight 5.5 kg. Meets RoHS II and EMC standards. The DefibSafe 3 DS3 cabinet works well at a building entrance.
Why the DefibSafe 3 DS3 cabinet?
The colour of the LED ring lets you check from a distance whether the AED is in place, and the display whether conditions inside are right. The cabinet works well at a building entrance, at a petrol station or by the water. The DefibSafe 3 DS3 cabinet shows the internal temperature on the display.

An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
