TRAUMAKIT Panaro 4 case is an empty orange case in which a first aid kit is carried directly to the scene of an incident. The body is made of polypropylene and the fasteners are made of nylon. The rigid construction helps protect the equipment against mechanical damage and adverse conditions during transport and storage.

The IP67 protection rating means the interior is protected against dust and the effects of temporary immersion in water. The pressure valve equalises the pressure inside the enclosure, and the nylon fasteners allow the case to be opened and closed quickly. The capacity is approximately 8.9 l and the dimensions are approximately 34 × 30 × 15.5 cm.

The case is sold without a defibrillator and without equipment, which is selected separately. TRAUMAKIT Panaro 4 case has a pressure valve that allows the pressure inside the housing to equalise.

Why does the TRAUMAKIT Panaro 4 case work well as a first aid kit enclosure?

A first aid kit can be exposed to dust, moisture and impacts during transport. Here, this is handled by the rigid polypropylene body and the IP67 protection rating. The pressure valve equalises the pressure inside, and the compact form with a handle makes it easier to carry everything to the scene of an incident. The orange TRAUMAKIT Panaro 4 case has a polypropylene body and nylon fasteners that allow it to be opened and closed quickly.

Modularity gives a practical advantage in use: individual modules can be used independently, giving quick access to the first aid supplies you need and allowing help to be given to several people at the same time. You can read about what is worth putting inside in the article A first aid kit ready for massive bleeding – on the equipment and availability of first aid kits.

Practical use of the case and how to act at the scene of an incident

The case is empty, so before you fill it, match the contents to the capacity of approximately 8.9 l and plan the division into modules that can be used independently. Once the nylon fasteners are closed, pick up the case by its carrying handle. After topping up or replacing modules, check that the fasteners close properly.

The case alone replaces nothing; what matters is quick, calm action. First assess your own safety and that of the casualty, then call for help on 999 or 112. In the case of massive bleeding, apply direct pressure, and apply a tourniquet when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening. You can read about calling for help in the article Chapter VI – Emergency number 112 and calling for help.
