The waterproof case for the ZOLL Plus defibrillator is an orange transport case dedicated to the ZOLL AED Plus defibrillator. It is used to store and transport the defibrillator where it is exposed to water, dust and impact – in a boat, an off-road vehicle, in the mountains or on a construction site.
The PELI-type case has laser-cut foam fitted to the defibrillator; the side foams can be removed to fit a spare battery and two sets of electrodes. A seal around the lid makes it IP67 waterproof and dustproof, and an automatic valve equalises the pressure inside – e.g. during air transport or in the mountains. Double latches open quickly, the soft handle is load-tested, and padlock holes allow the case to be secured further. The cases are stackable.
External dimensions: 464 × 366 × 176 mm, internal: 426 × 290 × 159 mm, capacity 19.64 l, weight approx. 3 kg. The case is made of polypropylene, nylon and polyurethane, withstands temperatures from -30 to +90°C and is certified to IP67, STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41. Why the waterproof case for the ZOLL Plus defibrillator?

An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
