The Aivia 300 Alarm LAN AED cabinet (Aivia) is an AED defibrillator cabinet for indoor use. It consists of two parts: a polycarbonate cover (door) with a UV filter and an ABS body – lightweight, impact-resistant materials. On the front there is an AED symbol, opening instructions and a simplified chain of survival graphic, and the AED symbol is also on both sides, so the cabinet is easy to spot.
Model features: audible and visual alarm on opening, night lighting, connection to AIVI@NET via the local area network (LAN). When the door is opened, flashing red lights and an audible signal are activated, and in low light the cabinet is indicated by night lighting. The cabinet connects to AIVI@NET via the local internet network (LAN) – a good solution in a building with a wired network where mobile coverage may be weak.
The cabinet measures 42.3 × 38.8 × 20.1 cm and runs on 24 V – the 230/24 V power supply is purchased separately. Optionally the cabinet can be fitted with a camera that photographs the people who open it. You can read more about remote monitoring services in the category AED monitoring (subscriptions). The Aivia 300 Alarm LAN AED cabinet works well in an office, school or public building.
Why the Aivia 300 Alarm LAN AED cabinet?
Remote monitoring lets you know at all times whether the cabinet has been opened and whether the AED is in place – without daily checks. The LAN connection does not depend on mobile network coverage. The Aivia 300 Alarm LAN AED cabinet has a transparent door through which the AED readiness indicator can be seen.
Other models are Aivia 300 4G, Aivia 310 LAN, Aivia 310 4G. You will find all cabinets in the category indoor AED cabinets.
An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
