Primedic myPAD AED defibrillator in case is a set consisting of an AED and a protective case with an IP67 rating. Primedic myPAD guides the user step by step through the rescue action using voice prompts and graphic instructions, so it can also be operated by a person with no medical training.

The electrodes are pre-connected, which shortens preparation for use. The adult/child mode button allows you to adjust the defibrillation parameters without replacing the electrodes. The device can be operated in several languages, performs automatic readiness tests and works in accordance with current ERC guidelines.

The set includes 1 × protective case and 1 × AED defibrillator Primedic myPAD. It is intended for companies, public offices and institutions, as well as for field operations.

Why choose the PRIMEDIC myPAD AED defibrillator in case?

Primedic myPAD AED defibrillator in case combines the device with an enclosure designed for transport and storage. The PRIMEDIC myPAD AED defibrillator in case sits in a contoured foam insert, which limits movement of the device and helps protect it against impacts.

The case body is made of polypropylene, and nylon fasteners allow it to be opened and closed quickly. The pressure valve equalises the pressure inside the enclosure, and the pocket on the inside of the lid keeps the electrodes organised. See also other AED defibrillators.

How to use an AED in sudden cardiac arrest?

First make sure the scene is safe, then call 999 or 112 and start chest compressions. When the defibrillator is on site, open the case, switch on the device and follow the voice prompts and graphic instructions. For a child, use the adult/child mode button. A bystander taking action can determine whether the casualty survives.

Primedic myPAD AED defibrillator in case has pre-connected electrodes, so they do not need to be prepared separately. The rules for using an AED are described in the chapter Automated external defibrillator (AED).
