Why choose the modular first aid kit TRAUMAKIT ROSZAKNW?

Modular first aid kit TRAUMAKIT ROSZAKNW lets you reach straight for the BLEEDING module in the case of massive bleeding, or for the BURNS module when the casualty has a burn.

The WOUNDS module is used for dressing cuts, grazes, wounds and light bleeding. The BURNS module contains hydrogel dressings and supporting materials. The FRACTURES module is intended for immobilising suspected fractures, dislocations and sprains, and the CPR and personal protection module for resuscitation and for protecting the helper from contact with biological material. The STRETCHER module is an ultralight stretcher for moving a casualty, which helps to limit heat loss; in the case it comes with additional NRC foil blankets. The ACCIDENT module helps to secure the scene of a road incident and improve visibility.

How to use the set during an incident

First, assess whether the scene is safe for you and the casualty, and call for help on 999 or 112. In the case of massive bleeding, apply direct pressure to the wound, and if bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, apply a tourniquet. In the case, the BLEEDING module includes a tourniquet and materials for packing and dressing wounds. Whether a casualty survives can depend on a bystander taking action.

Thanks to the division into modules, one person can dress a wound while another prepares the stretcher or secures the accident scene. Dealing with heavy bleeding is described in the article Massive haemorrhage – first aid, and you can read about calling for help correctly in the text Emergency number 112 and calling for help.
