C-A-T Resources – bleeding control equipment

With massive bleeding from a limb, the first choice is a tourniquet applied above the wound, not over a joint. Wounds where a tourniquet cannot be applied are packed with gauze – ideally haemostatic – and pressed, then secured with a pressure dressing. You can read more in the article Massive haemorrhage – first aid, and all equipment can be found in the category STOP BLEEDING.

Manufacturer and availability

The manufacturer is C-A-T Resources LLC. We give the details of the manufacturer and the responsible entity in the information for each product. We update product availability on an ongoing basis – if you can add a product to the cart, we will ship it within 3 working days. If you need a larger quantity or are not sure which product to choose – write to us, and we will advise.

Equipment is half the battle – the other half is knowing how to use it. In a life-threatening situation, action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives, which is why we invite you to massive bleeding control training.
