TRAUMAKIT ROSZ modular first aid kit is a first aid set made up of four modules, each intended for a different type of incident. The WOUNDS module is used to dress cuts, grazes, wounds and minor bleeding (gauze, plasters, bandages and supporting items). The BURNS module contains hydrogel dressings and supporting materials for protecting the burned area. The EMERGENCIES module includes equipment for sudden illness, eye injuries and chilling, and the FRACTURES module is used for initial immobilisation in cases of suspected fracture, sprain or dislocation.
The first aid kit comes in two versions. The bag is made of waterproof, easy-to-clean material and has a reinforced base, reflective elements, YKK zips and a low-profile handle; a shoulder strap can be attached to it. Its dimensions are approximately 24 × 30 × 14 cm and its capacity is approximately 10 l. The case has a polypropylene body, nylon fasteners, a pressure valve and an IP67 ingress protection rating, meaning protection against dust and the effects of brief immersion in water. The case dimensions are approximately 34 × 30 × 15.5 cm and its capacity is approximately 8.9 l. In the case version, the EMERGENCIES module also includes equipment for low blood sugar.
The set is intended for companies, public offices and schools, public buildings, warehouses and production halls, and for securing events. TRAUMAKIT ROSZ modular first aid kit has modules labelled WOUNDS, BURNS, EMERGENCIES and FRACTURES.

Why choose the TRAUMAKIT ROSZ modular first aid kit?
The equipment is divided into four modules by type of incident, so when you reach for the first aid kit you do not have to search through all of its contents. This matters in stressful conditions, when every moment counts. In the case version, the modules can be taken out and used independently, so several people can help different casualties at the same time. Individual modules can also be replenished or replaced. TRAUMAKIT ROSZ modular first aid kit is available as a bag that can be fitted with a shoulder strap, or as a case with a carrying handle.
The choice of form depends on how it will be used. The bag, with its reflective elements and reinforced base, is convenient where the set has to be carried often, including on the shoulder. The polypropylene case protects the contents from dust and moisture, and its handle makes it easier to reach a casualty even in a place with difficult access. The TRAUMAKIT ROSZ modular first aid kit in the case version has a polypropylene body and an IP67 ingress protection rating, and in the bag version a reinforced base.
How to use the first aid kit during an incident?
Always start by assessing safety: your own, the casualty's and that of the surroundings. Then call for help on 999 or 112. In the case of massive bleeding, apply direct pressure to the wound, and when bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, apply a tourniquet. The details are described in the article Massive haemorrhage – first aid.
Only then reach for the module that matches the incident. The FRACTURES module is intended to limit the movement of the injured part of the body until the emergency services arrive. A casualty's survival may depend on a bystander taking action, so it is worth knowing how to call for help on 999 or 112.
