The LIFEPAK 1000 battery is a non-rechargeable battery for LIFEPAK 1000 defibrillators – including the version with ECG. It has a built-in charge indicator that lets you quickly check how much energy is left.
The battery can deliver up to 440 shocks. Its standby life, with daily self-tests, is 5 years from installation in the device.
When replacing the battery, also check the expiry date of the electrodes – QUIK-COMBO for adults and paediatric electrodes for LIFEPAK 1000. The battery and electrodes are the two items that are replaced periodically.
Why the LIFEPAK 1000 battery with indicator?
The charge indicator lets you assess the battery without switching on the defibrillator – at a routine inspection and after every use. The large number of shocks means that the LIFEPAK 1000 battery also works well for teams that use an AED more often than once every few years.
You will find other batteries in the category AED defibrillator batteries.
AED inspection – what to remember?
The battery and electrodes are the parts of a defibrillator with a limited shelf life. Write down their replacement dates in a visible place, e.g. on a card by the cabinet, and respond immediately to the device's warning signal. After every use of the AED, check the battery status and replace the used electrodes. The LIFEPAK 1000 battery should be checked on the status indicator after every rescue.
