Vivest P1/P3 battery charger is a charger for the rechargeable batteries of ViVest Pocket AED P-series defibrillators – the Vivest P1 rechargeable battery and the ViVest P3 rechargeable battery. It can charge two batteries at the same time.
At 20°C (±2°C) a single battery charges in less than 2.5 hours; charging two batteries at once takes longer. The housing has an IP54 rating against water and particle ingress. The charger runs on 100–240 V mains (50/60 Hz), has a rated input power of 60 VA and a service life of 10 years.
Vivest P1/P3 battery charger is only needed for defibrillator versions with a rechargeable battery – versions with a disposable battery, e.g. the Vivest P1 battery, do not need charging.
Why a Vivest P1/P3 charger for two batteries?
A rechargeable battery in a defibrillator on standby must be charged every 3 months. The second slot lets you charge a spare battery while the first one is in the AED – the device never loses readiness. A convenient solution for companies and instructors with several Pocket AED defibrillators.

An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives. Vivest P1/P3 battery charger works well in an office, at a security desk or in a training centre.
