The ZOLL AED Plus Stat-Padz II defibrillator is a semi-automatic AED supplied with two separate Stat-Padz II electrodes for adults, with a 2-year shelf life. It is the economical version of the AED Plus – Stat-Padz II electrodes have no compression sensor, so the device does not measure CPR depth, but it guides the rescuer with prompts and a metronome.
The device guides the rescuer through the whole chain of survival: voice prompts in Polish, captions on the display and illuminated pictograms on the housing indicate the next actions. The display shows the time since switch-on, the number of shocks and text prompts, and the metronome sets the compression rate. When a shock is advised, the rescuer presses the button.
Power is provided by the a set of 10 batteries for ZOLL AED Plus type 123A – enough for approx. 300 shocks or 13 hours of operation, with a 5-year life (with software version 5.32 or later). Daily or weekly self-tests and a monthly full-energy test monitor readiness; a fault is signalled by an indicator on the housing. The housing has an IP55 rating, and for field use you can use the waterproof case for ZOLL AED Plus. For children under 8 years or 25 kg, use the Pedi-Padz II electrodes – the energy then drops to 50 J. The ZOLL AED Plus Stat-Padz II defibrillator should be kept in a visible, signposted place so that anyone can reach it quickly.
Why the ZOLL AED Plus Stat-Padz II defibrillator?
It is the same proven AED Plus in a cheaper electrode configuration. If you want feedback on compression depth, you can switch to CPR-D padz electrodes at any time – the device works with both types. The ZOLL AED Plus Stat-Padz II defibrillator requires the electrodes to be replaced after each use.
The version with compression-sensor electrodes is the ZOLL AED Plus CPR-D padz. You will find other models in the category AED defibrillators and accessories. The ZOLL AED Plus Stat-Padz II defibrillator works well for companies and facilities looking for a proven AED at a lower price.
An AED ready at all times
A defibrillator only helps if it works and can be reached quickly. Appoint a person to regularly check the readiness indicator and the expiry dates of the battery and electrodes. When someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 112, start chest compressions and ask for an AED to be brought – action taken by a bystander can decide whether the casualty survives.
