How to use a personal protection set during CPR?
First make sure the scene is safe for you, the casualty and bystanders. Put on gloves and check the casualty's response and breathing. If they are unresponsive and not breathing normally, call for help on 999 or 112 and start chest compressions. Use the Pocket Mask only if you know how to use it. It is worth practising this beforehand on a course, and the set also includes instructions.
