Why choose the TRAUMAKIT Mini 2 RW first aid kit?
The set combines two tasks in one place: dressing minor wounds and securing a situation on the road. The Injuries module is useful for cuts, grazes and light bleeding, as well as when something gets into the eye (eye wash devices). The tick removers provide a tool in case of contact with a tick. The Accident module adds a high-visibility vest, a chemical light and a head torch, as well as an accident culprit statement form with a pen. TRAUMAKIT Mini 2 RW first aid kit has a mini head torch in the Accident module, which makes work easier after dark. The mini head torch has a power of 10W.
The smaller size and modular design let you adapt the contents to your own needs. The set is intended for people who spend time actively outdoors, office and technical staff, and pupils and students. If you are wondering how to prepare for more serious injuries, read the article about first aid kits ready for massive bleeding. In the TRAUMAKIT Mini 2 RW first aid kit you will also find a vomit bag with a capacity of 1 l.
How to use the kit at a road incident and for an injury
First assess your own safety and that of your surroundings. Put on the high-visibility vest, mark the scene with the chemical light if necessary, and put on nitrile gloves before touching a wound. Then call 999 or 112 and follow the dispatcher's instructions. The keyring with the seatbelt cutter and hammer is used to get out of a vehicle in an emergency.
The contents of the TRAUMAKIT Mini 2 RW first aid kit are intended for minor injuries. When bleeding is massive, call for help and apply direct pressure to the wound, for example with a sterile compress or gauze. A casualty's survival may depend on a bystander taking action. You will find details in the article Massive haemorrhage – first aid.
