The Personal Protection/CPR module contains nitrile gloves in sizes L and M, a Pocket Mask for CPR, a 3-layer surgical mask, 16.5 cm rescue scissors and a mini head torch. The mini head torch has a power of 10W. In the Bleeding module you will find an Israeli-type individual dressing 10 cm x 4", a MATOPAT UNIVERSAL elastic bandage 10 cm x 5 cm, sterile gauze dressing and two amputation bags 23.5 x 30 cm. The Wounds module includes plasters, a sterile gauze compress, a Burncare hydrogel dressing 5x15 cm, two ZPO eye wash devices, eye dressings and tick removers. The Wounds module contains 1 pack of sterile gauze compress 17N 8W 7.5x7.5 cm, 3 pieces per pack.
The Burns module consists of Burncare hydrogel dressings in sizes 5x5 cm, 10x10 cm and 5x15 cm (2 pieces of each), two elastic dressing nets and an NRC foil/thermal blanket. The Fractures module contains a Sam Splint 46x11cm and a cotton triangular bandage, and the Accident module has a yellow high-visibility vest, a safety keyring (hammer and seat belt cutter) and a chemical light. How to use the kit: first steps for an injury
Start by assessing the safety of the scene and call for help on 999 or 112. Put on nitrile gloves. In massive bleeding, the basis is direct pressure on the wound, and the Israeli-type individual dressing from the Bleeding module is used to control it. When bleeding from a limb is life-threatening, a tourniquet is needed; this kit does not include one. For a burn, cool the injured area, protect it with a hydrogel dressing and make sure the casualty does not get cold – the Burns module has an NRC foil/thermal blanket for this.
